Guys, I think Quagmire is going now. Been worried for aboout a week but tonight....

Has a vet seen him in this week ?

I thought about taking him , but I just started doing what the vet said last time, I gave him baby food with water and vitamins through a tube. At first he was perking up to that, thhis morning we wouldnt open his mouth for anything snapped it shut when i opened it. then tonight I got the tube in and he didnt even close his mouth after! His eyes are open but not looking good,hes not gone yet but I fear thats whats happening.

Oh no, he's had a tough time , I know you got him as an adult with no medical history but he's been quite ill off + on. I hope it's not the end but with his long term illness it may be coming to that, my heart goes out to you !

His eyes were never sunken in like this either. Is he already gone?

So sad, if not gone then very near. It's really hard when vets can only offer so much help and if add to that that dealing with reptile health problems is still unchartered territory in many ways. There's just not that much knowledge out there yet to deal with reptiles, although there have been advances. Much different than the expertise vets have in dealing with furry pets like cats + dogs.

I'm so sorry.

Gee , he's in a really bad way.

Is he black bearding ?

He really needs either intensive vet care (involving tube feeding and rehydration) or euphanisation (if he is in constant agony and has zero quality of life and no chance of ever recovering). Prolonging his suffering is not doing him any favours and I don't usually suggest this as an option , but in his case he looks too far gone to save without intensive vet care .

Gone to a place where there is a never ending supply of warm sunshine and his favourate bugs.

Aw, I'm sorry....I'ts better that he slipped away at home instead of a cold noisy hospital. It's obvious how much you cared for him , and what a sweet little face in that picture from better days. My condolences to you + any other family members.
