How long between clutch laying and next breeding?

I purchased an adult female to try and breed with my male. Turns out she was already bred and laid eggs this past week. She has her own enclosure. I need to know how long before I should introduce her to my dragon. I know she can lay more than one clutch so for her health should I just keep them apart and start trying next year?

It usually takes 3 weeks between clutches, but can be a week shorter or longer. If a dragon lays infertile eggs, you can try to breed her within approximately 3 days afterwards in order to get fertile eggs. It is 100% possible for a female to lay multiple clutches from different males and I'm 90% sure she can have eggs in one clutch fertilized by more than one male. I would try to find out if she laid any clutches before you got her and if so, how many. If she only laid one, I would let her breed again, but if she layed 3 and then a 4th after you got her, I would leave her alone until next season.
