Hello, at the moment she is shedding one small spike and I noticed there doesn't appear to be a spike under the shedding. More like a black color. Also I saw this bump at night. But, I haven’t been able to see it again because she never really goes in this position. Are any of these two things bad?

At times a spike might shed off or just get rubbed off, they can be smaller in some areas as well and what you see is no problem. Bump looks harmless as well, just a normal little bulge that we see around the belly area at times.

You're welcome, I know that you're very concerned about any potential health problems with Cole. She's looking pretty healthy, just goes through grouchy moods mostly. :)
Always remember that most tiny spike problems are nothing to be concerned about. They can all lose a spike here or there and it does not harm them at all.

Ok, thank you very much!!! I didn’t know they could lose spikes, so it is good to know!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
