Beardie Harnesses

I struggled to find anything that would work for me harness wise so, I designed one that I absolutely love. I was wondering if anybody might be interested in getting one? They come in all colors, and they'll fit and adjust to any beardie (not super tiny ones) but they will adjust all the way through their adulthood... My babies have never acted uncomfortable and being that we go outside quite often, they've never been able to wiggle out of one. I've never done anything like it before, so I'm testing the waters.

Very nice!! I, too, struggle with the harness situation. The last time I was attempting to get Jack into a harness type device, he pooped. LOL!

I really like your harness. Your dragon is gorgeous! I have been looking for one since the weather starting to get nice. I would love to know the price you are asking. I have been reading the store bought ones squeeze the dragons when they get angry. My baby is about 2 months now. I was looking at the diy ones but I am not a crafty person. Lol

Thank you so much! I got a store bought one and I did not like it one bit. Neither did Riddick. I got antsy when I couldn't find anything else. I'd charge $7... For the supplies and shipping. This harness does grow with your beardie so you'd never have to get another unless you wanted another color :)

Too funny lol! Riddick didn't like harnesses much to begin with, but after time he's just accepted it. I'm glad he did too because we couldn't go outside without it!

Once you get set up in the sale section, I'd be interested in a harness, too.. Little Leopold doesn't like his jacket type..

I bought one similar to yours on Amazon. It works very well. I don't place it on my beardie's neck though, I place both cords just in front of his back legs, and adjust it just enough to be comfortable to him.

I like the idea. I don't think my Riddick would like that too awful much though. He's super sensitive about his tail... Not sure why!

It's not really on the tail at all, just before it. The cords are just wrapped around it in the pic, but are not attached there.

i use a hip harness like that also, just enough to have some tension if he runs but not enough to actually constrict. It's getting a bit more difficult now that he's ahem "fuller" but once on he doesn't get loose. i only use it when he's on the ground though, i never hold onto the lead when he's on my shoulder or anywhere high up. I would rather have him fall down and land himself then risk dislocating a vertibra or something from the pull of the harness on the hips.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
