Well, Barb. I guess Spring is here. Rosie has been awake for well, today makes it 5 days straight now, I believe. She's had a black beard every day that I know of.
Hi Barb, It was nice to catch-up, the boys look great, of course, how could it be any different with the great care you give them!!!!!!! Hope 2012 is treating you better, my computer is just as touchy as yours......hopefully we'll be on line more than not.
Yes, it's nice to have her awake, we just have to watch out for her with Goldie. When she gets hormonal, she will sometimes go after Goldie and headbutt her.
 ... Oh, sorry :silent:  I just never know because there are a lot of mixed emotions out there.
I was almost sure you had posted here before  as your name and beardies are very familiar to me (even though I have been MIA for months), but couldn't find one last night when I replied. An I surely didn't want to come across as rude by not replying. However please forgive my previous post and accept my/Zak-n-Wheezie's thank-you.
Hormonal male beardies can be so sad... ...you find yourself feeling sorry for them. Awww!
I have missed seeing you the boys look awesome love the black beardes, Twiggy likes the boys as well so does Cleo .
My adults are getting up this weekend its time to bring them out of brumation its been 18 weeks now.

I understand. This isn't the first time someone said something 'cause they thought I was being negative on this thread. I just think maybe I don't word things in a way people can really understand what I mean. I've always been attracted to the "odd"/"unusual". (I don't mean that in a bad way) Even siamese twins in humans and other species has always interested me. In school I always loved science, biology mostly, and I loved doing the pedigrees and genealogy. It's just interesting to me. Maybe "fascinates" me is the better way of putting it?
Yes, I know! I feel so sorry for Azreal! This is my first time exp. this. Allie and Azreal are our first beardies and they are just starting to come to that age. But he keeps going nuts and he wants Allie sooooooo bad, and she him...but they can't...and I feel bad. Hope Zak-n-Wheezie feel better (less hormonal) soon!
Thank-you AchiKat for understanding and not getting upset.
I wasn't sure at first what you meant and had just finished reading some bashing negative comments elsewhere on the Internet pertaining to me and the boys, plus I was really tired as well as feeling emotional after what I'd read. So I apologize!
Poor Azreal...hope he calms down soon. I hate when they go nuts with hormones usually most my males will not eat during this time, all they can think about is those girls. Burning calories all day and not taking any in. Bet you never knew beardies could make so much noise, huh?
They are all such funny an unique little characters! :love5:
Zak-n-Wheezie are all over the place this morning....quite hyped up. I try my best to keep the others out of their view in order to attempt minimizing their stress and hormonal behavior, but it doesn't always work. I swear beardies can sense other beardies, they really do not need to see them...that or they can see around corners.

WHAT?! Who said what and where?! Let me at 'em! I'll beat them up for bashing you. The nerve of saying negative things about you when you take such great care of Zak and Wheezie.

Me, too There is nothing negative about you & your boys, Barbara. Please let us know who's bashing you so we call all give them royal ****. That is so unfair, you are the best beardie slave & to say anything negative just burns me up! Without your care, Z&W wouldn't be here, it's because of you that they're now 4 1/2 yrs old. So if someone is bashing you, we just won't stand for it!
I think it's so funny when my dragons get all hormonal. That's why I stuff them all summer with as much food as I can, as they each will lose 100g with all the black bearding & bobbing (sometimes I think they'll give themselves whiplash!) It's so quiet with them all sleeping, except for Leo & I swear he wakes up for TV. He was in his hide this morning peeking out, so I put his light on & next thing you know he's back at the side of his tank watching TV  He so makes me laugh but it was nice to have a beardie to snuggle, even if it was just for a few minutes before I went to work. The other 3 are out like a light. Time to wake them up for water on Monday am. Then I'm sure they'll all black beard & bob me, then off to their hides again
Give the boys a huge hug from me
Hugs 'n snuggles,
Deb
