Hi!
I have a beardie who turns 7 months tomorrow. She just came over coccidia and parasites not long ago, a month or so. She wasn't symptomatic during this, aside from runny stool
Well within the last two weeks shes been acting weird. Sleeping more, eating less, not pooping every-every other day as usual
And for a few days now she has completely refused bugs. She will eat greens but she runs away when i serve her bugs. I've had her in a bath twice this week, both times she pooped (first time was a bit runny second was normal)
Shes also dark a lot. Usually shes peach colored light orange, but lots of times she will look brown ish grey. Pic one is today and the other is her normal color

What is happening? Should i be worried?

Shes going into shed and this time of year they tend to slow down on eating -- this is normal - she looks really good -- I would lay off the baths -- dragons can take weeks to poop and as she gets older this is a normal behavior - as long as her UVB and surface basking temps are up to par she will go to the bathroom

That means a lot to hear. Weeks between poops even at her young age? I measured the temps today and they are looking good and the UVB should definitely be working too. My other baby with same set up has no issues.

Blaze started slowing down w/ his poops at 6 months - when really young they poop at least once a day sometimes more -- so him pooping every other day or couple at 7 months is normal -- dont fret he will poop as long as those things are good -

Yeah thats the thing, she used to poop every day to every second day but it had been a week when i bathed her and then 4 days more when i bathed her again. This is my biggest concern

She's fine - just let her do her thing-

It sounds like you're doing a great job keeping an eye on your beardie and being proactive. It’s always tough when they start acting out of character, especially after a health scare like coccidia. Given her recent issues with parasites, it’s possible that her body is still recovering, which could explain some of the changes in her behavior and appetite.

Thank you Alice. I am hoping this is what it is but I am leaning towards contacting my vet today.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
The head tilt tho! Aaaahhh
