I had her on my chest/neck, covered up with her binkie and she falls asleep then I did, I woke up 3 hours later and she is still asleep where I put her. Then I got home tonight an hour after her lights go off and she is still awake looking at me, took her out wrapped her up, laid her on my desk while I work on it, rub her back and out she goes.
I lie in bed and watch my Gorbash run around the bed then he comes up to me, licks my nose and jumps onto my face, climbing up onto my head. He then scratched at my head a little, curled up and went to sleep in my hair. I could have cried at adorableness XD
you guys are so lucky!! my guy never wants to cuddle he just wants to run around and explore..... he played peek-a-boo with me the other day! that was really sweet of him!
Same thing happened to me bout a month ago, me & Spike were watching a old movie together, I accidentally fell asleep with him on me.... I woke up and he was snuggled into my stomach pocket on my hoodie, with only his head inside the actual pocket :3 It was a good 3 hour nap too, I didn't want to wake him, so I held onto his belly and slowly walked upstairs to my room and gently put him on his blanket inside his viv... He didn't wake up at all! He is an awesome pet.
I recently went through a bad break-up, and I already knew that my cat was sympathetic towards my misery. She had cuddled with me all night. Earlier this morning after I had fed Newt and he basked a bit, he practically plastered himself against the glass and stood up on his hind legs, his front ones were 'waving' frantically to get my attention. I took him out and set him on my knee, and he just sat there for a while. Just because they're technically cold blooded doesnt mean they're cold hearted. I'm a firm believer that just about any creature is capable of a range of emotions, including love and sympathy.
I'm not brave enough to fall asleep with Newt yet, hes still so small. But I do look forward to the day when I can
ive taken plenty of naps with my beardy and he always seems really bummed when i decide to get up. i especially feel bad for him when i have him out at night to wander and he climbs up and snuggles into my neck/under my jaw bone and i have to move him but he keeps trying to snuggle his head and grip onto me.
I've had my baby Beardie for 5 days, and it already feels like I've had him for 5 years. It's surreal. By the third day of having him, I was in my room, doing my homework at my desk. Across the room, the timer turned out the lights in Fiz's (my Beardie) viv and he sat there on his basking rock, staring at me. A half hour passed and I was getting worried because he usually would curl up in the corner as soon as the lights went out and sleep, so I got upand looked at him through the glass of the viv. He pounded at the glass with his little hands and I reached in and stroked him on the head a couple of times. Then, he went and curled in his corner and fell asleep. Now, Fiz absolutely positively will not ever go to sleep without me personally saying goodnight to him with a few rubs to his head & belly. In fact, I just went upstairs to check on him, and he was waiting for me, and I stroked him, and he went right on to bed. He's only like, a month old. So smart & Cute! I love him

My Thor will sometimes stay awake when his light goes out. If my girlfriend takes him out, he'll fall asleep clinging to her. I think it's a combination of him liking the softness of her clothing and just feeling safe on her (when he hears noises outdoors, he'll tightly cling to her and try to hide in her hair, which he quite enjoys climbing on/in]).
