Why why why!!!???
Rex dies just over two years old, and now, at just over 8 months, i find out RJ has andeovirus!!!
I get it, no matter if i had him or someone else did, the poor guy would still have andeovirus. But why do i have to deal with loss with my first two dragons? I know they're capable of living with it, but given his appetite and energy has drastically declined recently, i imagine it's not a good sign. I AM SOOO SAD RIGHT NOW!
I am so sorry that Rex has Adeno. So many have it due to the unethical breeders that have no consideration for dragons' health.
I am currently trying to get a cure going, but it is taking time.
If you would like to PM me, we can discuss supplementation & other ways to try & help increase
their health.
Have you already reviewed your tank setup with us to be sure it's all correct?
That's horrible .... you have to be really upset over this ...
Really wish we could name and shame breeders and petshops who knowingly sell ADV positive reptiles without disclosing their ADV status to the buyer , the only real way to deal with these toe rags is to wreck their businesses and drive them out of the hobby permanently , because they are interested in only one thing = $ .
Maybe it should be made mandatory to test all reptiles in your country prior to sale.
I am truly sorry that Rex had Atadenovirus I agree most people just want to breed dragons and sell them for $ and do not care about their health at all. I think thats good idea kingofnobbys, every reptile that is being sold should have a mandatory test. Its sad that people use them to make $ but we have to do a lot of research prior and look at the signs and behavior.
