I am going to upload a picture of his poop, you have been warned!

For half a week now my beardie has been pooping weirder than usual. It started with him having a bit of an issue passing his stool (I had to help him get the rest out by gently pulling it out the rest of the way) then it turned to him being slightly bloated. That's when I started to be worried, then he had a stool with a liquid urate, which concerned me more. Now his poop is solid and comes out in 2 chunks and his urate is white and intact, but liquid still comes out with it.

I made an appointment for next Monday, but I need to know it I need to get him seen sooner.

Thanks,
Rebekah Hoffman

The poop looks fine -- moist solid and formed -- what are you feeding him and how old is he?

I'd also say it looks fine.
Some liquid coming out with it is fine. (With my dragon, it looks similar to what you show. Also the "circle" of water around it - you show it here on paper tissue, my dragon poops on sand, but looks the same, the sand is then wet around and I've to remove a spoonful.)

Hello,

I concur, the stool looks pretty normal. You can get a
fecal done though, when you are at the vets just to get
a baseline for his worm or parasite level. Low levels are very normal.
What other greens other than the collard & mustard
greens have you tried? Collards are very good, & you
could also try arugula or dandelion along with the collards too.

All these comments have helped with my worries! Thank you all!

To be honest, I had tried giving him kale along with his salads at one point, because I had looked up that it was fine, but then shortly after was told to stop that, so I did. I haven't really tried much else for the reason that I have been a bit scared to since there is so much contradicting information. I will be sure to try Dandelion or Arugula. If you have any other suggestions that would be great. I want to treat him right.

Hello,

It sounds like your dragon is doing just fine!
Just keep trying new greens, to offer more variety for him.
Kale is pretty popular & most of them tend to love it also.
Keep us posted on him!

Oh! I love bragging about my little guy! I just over worry sometimes. I will definietly let you all know what the vet says. He is probably fine since his poop had turned normal again and he is acting like he always does, but it is still good to get a base line.
Here is a pic of him enjoying the sun last weekend:

Hello,

Sherlock looks great! It appears he loves the outdoor sunshine, it is so good for him! I hope he is
doing well & eating a lot, too! I think he will be just fine.

A little update.
I noticed yesterday when I got home that he kept his right eye closed. When looking at it more it appears to be a little cloudy and this morning he had another watery stool. I went ahead and pumped up his appointment today to hopefully get some answers and make 100% sure that he is alright.

He has a clean bill of health! I'm a worrier, but it is happy to hear that he is alright!
The Vet believes that he has something in his eye which is irritating it, so I was given eye drops and as a precaution we went ahead and gave him medicine to flush out parasites.
Thank you all for the help in calming my nerves during this time! <3

Hello,

That's great Sherlock is doing good! Which medication did you give him for flushing out any
parasites? The antibiotic eye drops should help clear up the eye. Perhaps he just got some
dirt or other debris in there, or some shed which caused irritation.
He should do just fine for you now. I know it's virtually impossible not to worry about them, we
all do.

She was having a staring contest with a mealworm. I guess I never taught her to not play with her food, lol.
