Worried about egg laying

Hi guys recently my almost 3 year old dragon who is usually a great eater, has only been taking 1 bug/week and almost no greens… she was definitely ovulating last week (extremely active- didn’t want to be in her tank).. now she’s digging a lot so I’m making a dig box today. I’m just worried about her laying eggs 😩 it’s a scary thought to me I just want to make sure I’m doing everything right. She otherwise looks very healthy and acts normal… just a huge decrease in appetite. Does it sound like she’ll lay soon? My bf and I could feel slight bumps last night. Her name is cookie.. pic for reference. She has the correct lighting and heat but lately has preferred running around the sunroom anyway

Just make sure she is hydrated...however she takes fluids, dropper on the nose, in the bath, on moistened greens (IF she eats any greens), via hornworm, whatever. She looks well hydrated in the pics. Just offer the greens daily and bugs when she takes them, dust with calcium and let her do her thing. After she lays, extra calcium and fluids, will help her replenish what she has lost laying...egg laying takes a lot out of them.

Yes drinks out of a spray bottle.. I even put a little calcium powder in that since she hasn’t been eating but always drinking! Thanks again!

Hello,

Cookie is very sweet! If she has a decreased appetite then that is a big sign she will most likely lay
her eggs soon. Do you have a picture of her laybox? I'm glad that you already made one up for her
because it makes it easier to already have it for her.
She looks healthy without a black beard. Be sure she is well hydrated & you could probably give her
a little extra calcium also.
Her behavior sounds pretty normal to me, but as always with gravid females, just keep an eye on her.

Hello,

Wow, so she did end laying then, 21 eggs is quite a bit! Great to hear she didn't seem to have any
trouble laying at all. It's a very positive sign she is drinking a lot of water too. I am sure that she is
very thirsty, they usually are after laying. I hope she is getting a lot of rest. 💗

Yes! She’s taking it easy. Def looking and acting more herself today.. she was exhausted yesterday. I felt she needed a “push gift” so I went out for hornworms haha

Hello,

That's great to hear she is doing better today & has a little more energy also. She should get back to normal soon!
Were you able to find some hornworms for her also?
