Worms that are shipped with crickets

Hi

Does anyone know what those ugly worm/beetle type things I often find in with my crickets. Small and with lots of legs and are they edible.

Whilst not taking to calci worms so far in their young lives, one of my beardie babies gobbled one up, before I had chance to do anything about it.

Hi Marie, they are cleaner bugs just to help clean up the poop. They wont hurt but I recommend not feeding them. They are more of a P.I.T.A then anything.
