I was wondering if anyone is having a hard time reaching wormman. They have pretty much screwed me over on 500 mealworms that i have been waiting for since August 23rd. They sent me 1 email saying that it was to hot to send and they would be resending september 8th. I have sent them 3 emails, 3 voicemails....and nothing. My paypal was charged and it is now past 45 days. I believe a claim will be sent to them, but i tried doing this the right way and they screwed me even more. Just wondering if anyone has gotten in touch with anyone over there or what, because frankly i am not very happy and most likely will never buy from them again. I was a first time buyer.
I ordered from them 3-4 years ago and the service and quality was excellent. I ordered again about 5 months ago and the service was horrid. Sent emails, finally requested my order to be canceled and refunded, and mysteriously, the shipment was on my doorstep the next day. I think this is a case of them being 'too big for their britches' to be honest. They used to be good, but seems like I read nothing but negative about them nowadays. I will say, the shipment I just received a few months ago was very healthy, just slow shipping and *TOTAL* lack of communication even when I sent emails. Phone calls would be mandatory in my opinion.
unfortunately, the phone number is a recording...leave a message and pray for a response, its already been almost 2 months. Its ridiculous the kind of service these companies give their customers. I guess ill call every day and leave a message every single day and see what happens. They have the audacity to take your money,amazing.
Contact your credit card company. You usually have 90 days to dispute a charge with visa or mastercard (assuming its a visa or mastercard, of course). I know just how bad it sucks to have a charge-back from a credit card. It messes up everything, in respect to tax documents and such. It may help to wake them up a little... And it may be a little satisfactory to yourself
I was a first time customer and ordered phoenix worms from them. Since they were close to me I figured that I would get quick shipping. Their website does not tell you if something is out of stock, so if you order something that they are out of, you will be waiting until they receive their orders (for me it was around 2 weeks). They make it a point not to have to talk to you on the phone. They take forever answering e-mails and when they do, they are vague and full of excuses. I ended up putting in an order to phoenixworms.com and got them before the wormman order. I will never ever order anything from them again. They are shooting themselves in the foot with that kind of customer service. I hope the owner visits this site and reads these negative reviews of his company. Probably won't do any good though.
I had to laugh when I read this post because I was just about to ask the same thing!!!!!!! lol. I have ordered from them for 3 months now at first they were always on time and now it has been 2 weeks since I ordered and have received nothing!!!!!! I have sent 10 emails and they all reply with the same thing (days later replies) We are having shipping problems is all they say. They have shipping problems but I have hungry beardies lol. Anyone know where else you can order crickets in bulk???
yea my beef is that they charge you the money, and seem to forget you totally. I want a refund...i already bought worms from premiumcrickets.com. Got a confirmation on order and when it was being shipped right away. I just want my $15 back that they charge me for the worms i never got. This has been going on since i ordered from them late august. I am still waiting to hear something, its amazing how these companies love ripping people off and ignore them completely. I don't understand it really.
Wow, I guess I am in the same boat as a lot of people. I've ordered through them before and it always came really fast. I ordered phoenix worms around September 15 or so and after sending them 2 e-mails and one phone call I FINALLY got a reply back. Hopefully I can get my worms and not order with them again. The lady said they have been having issues with deliveries. Here is the response I got back:
I apologize that you have not received your order and for the inconvenience this has caused you. We have been having issues with deliveries, but we'll do our best to ensure you receive your shipment successfully.
Thank you for your patience and once again, thank you for your order with us.
Thats the same reply I got from them. If they really did have GOOD customer service they would have informed their customers of that instead of us begging for answers and wondering where our orders are.
They are horrendous. A few years ago I ordered some whiteworms for my aquarium fish. They took forever to get here, and when they did, they were in an old plastic butter container taped shut. The dirt they were in was infested with all sorts of other bugs. I bitched, and they sent me another batch which was just as pathetic. Don't go there.
