If you've seen my last post, i got my first beardie literally like 2 days ago and so far he hasnt been eating
He is 4 months old, his basking spot is 40C, and i know i may be overreacting but its better safe than sorry yk?
Hes been basking alotttt and so far he drank some water and so far hasnt pooped, but urinated twice
Just a bit concerned
(I've been trying to feed him medium/small sized locusts that the reptile store i got him from gave me, as well as some greens)

Is the dragon able to get directly under the UVB? Are you using digital probe thermometers to get the surface basking temp -- please post a pic of the tank and lighting --- not eating at all? He should be eating something - are you offering salads as well or jut the locust?

I don't understand what you exactly mean about the uvb part, hopefully what you meant is visible in the pics tho (pic taken before adding him into the viv btw - I'm using an arcadia luminize 12% pro t5)
I do use a digital thermometer but i take it out cause its kinda in the way - i just put it in for a good 40 mins or so + i have a temp gun (usually shows between 39.3-ish to 40)
When it comes to salads I'm trying alot of different things as idk maybe hes a picky eater? I'm about to try give him dandelion leaves, carrots and cucumber

Where is the UVB? I cant see it--- is it in the tank -- distance should be 12-15 inches directly above his basking area -- you can get some two sided tape to use on the digital probe thermometer and the probe doesnt need to stay on the spot where he sits - you can spot check every week basking bulbs get weak over time -- here is a pic of my tank and how its set up this for reference
