Hey to all you experienced beardie parents. I need help. My little guy is 5 months old and you can picture his voracious appetite. However, he won't eat greens. I can put anything in there and he'll eat it, but no kale, collard green, dandelion green, etc. but he loves fruits and veges. Even if I put the good stuff under the greens he throws the greens out of his bowl. I've tried multiple days in a row to offer just a variety of greens in his bowl hoping he'd succumb to his hunger and he just won't do it. Do you think he'll adapt as he ages? Is it ok that he's at least eating the other veges I give him?
Thanks
Keep offering them. He will likely be more interested as he gets older. It's good that he's eating his veges but should have fruit only as a treat. I've had good luck hand feeding greens and sometimes my guys have preferred greens later in the day when they're a bit crunchier. One of them had turnip greens as a favorite and my current dragons prefers collards. They all have their own preferences though so it will take trial and error.
