Does anybody have a dragon that refuses to eat any kind of salad? I have had him since he was two months old I have always offered it daily and have tried every healthy thing on list and NOTHING. He is now a year old is still hates salad!!!! HELP!!!!
They need to be coaked when they are very young --- get some worms super meal horn butter silk worms add them to the salad first thing in the morning - only add a few maybe mix and match couple on top make sure he sees you doing this so it gets his attention --- BSFL work great as they are small -- try that see if it will work hes pretty old now so it may not work --- if you need websites for worms etc let me know -- dubia roaches work great cuz you can put them in the salad bowl too

IF your dragon is healthy and of a good weight, I'd stop feeding bugs all together until he starts eating his salad.
Salads provide many benefits and micronutrients necessary for the health of your dragon. I make sure every single one of my dragons I get eats salad from day one, even when they are only a couple months old.
He has been getting salad since day one(about eight weeks old) however he’s never eaten it. I would say he’s pretty healthy. He’s got to be about a year old right now 17 inches long last weight was last week and he weighed 427grams. I have taken the bugs away for a week and he still would not eat the salad so stupid Me gave in because I felt bad. I have tried putting every single possible thing in there to entice him but he knows just to pick anything alive out and just eat that. He does love the “actual flower” of a dandelion and peas but that’s about it when it comes to nonliving foods.
Yup they are smart, they won't eat the salad if they know they are going to get bugs.
At that weight, he can definitely handle a week or two without bugs. He will get hungry enough to eat his salad eventually. Remember, they are smart, they won't let themselves starve to death.
I've used this method to help dozens of stubborn adults start eating their salads. I use it on babies too to a degree to get them started.
It's your choice, but IMO, the health risks of not eating salads for a dragon far outweigh any potential health risk from not eating any insects for a few weeks.
Ok I guess I will try again and not give into him this time is it also normal he hasn’t shed since Dec? He was shedding every 4-6weeks. From July up until Dec.
