When I take him out of his enclosure, it’s like his personality truly comes forth 🥹 He’s not afraid of me, give me lil licks and all but then exploration mode kicks in He jumps and wants to « run around ». I take him
back to me and he’s chill, should I let him run around as much as he wants ? or let him het used to stay and chill?

I agree! Mine (but now an adult) is also an explorer - he stays a short while near me, then he runs around.
That's good exercise, and he's still around you.

Be careful he don't jump from anything very high, it can injure him really bad or even kill him if he lands wrong.

I always made ramps out of blankets to train mine to go down that way. He will get used to the ramps and jumping will no longer be an option for him to get down from high places, he will look for a gentle slope.
