I started to feed my dragons superworms. I have them in a rubbermaid container with holes drilled in the top. i bought 1000 of them last week. well 2 days ago i noticed there is condensation on the inside of the container top. Why is this happening, i don't think this is a good thing. how do i keep this from happening? thanks
What did you use as bedding for the supers? They need a bedding that will absorb moisture, like oatmeal flakes or wheat germ. Also, unless the airholes are the size of a pencil eraser, there won't be enough ventilation.
If the rubbermaid container is relatively tall and there won't be a chance of the supers climbing out, you won't need a lid.
I am using oatmeal flakes. And my boyfriend drilled holes in the lid with a fairly decent size drill bit. i thought about keeping the lid off , but was afraid they would climb out. how tall of a container do you think ? i do live in florida and the humidity here is horrible , very high, but our a/c runs all day every day and the supers are inside the house.
