i have a very young bearded dragon that i got two weeks ago and i have started to notice him glass surfing.
when i first relised this i google it and dident really come up with much.
my little buddy also likes to run to the corners or his cage alot.
any more info on what is going on will help
thanks much
sorry i forgot to say this.
He lives right now in a 10 gallon cage and it has two medium sized rocks a feeding and water cup
a stick and one plant on ground and one in the corner.
Might want to put him in a bigger enclosure if possible, if not available right now I'd say have him out for some SUPERVISED exploration time. Mine did the same until he got bumped up to a 40 gallon tank and he hasn't done it since.
Hi. How are you taking the temps? What kinds of lights are you using? Coil/compat or tube? What brands? He definitely needs a bigger enclosure as those 10gallons are way to small for correct temps and he needs a side to cool down. It sounds light something is bothering him. Temps and or lights.

That sounds like a lot of heat for a 10 gallon tank, I would definitely remove the pads and make sure to get an accurate temp on his basking/cool side. If I were you I would move him into at least a 20 gallon tank asap and get a uvb light on him.
It's important to answer those questions more specifically. The kinds of lights and the temps are very important for a healthy beardie. If you are using a coil or compact uvb those definitely cause issues. You want a reptisun 10.0 tube uvb. Taking the temps properly is also very important. You need a temp gun or a digital thermometer with a wire probe. Do you use a white light for basking?
