Hey, I notice you said “her”. I did some research into this as my bearded friend did the same quite frequently! It can be one of a few things, she’s brumating ready to give birth, she’s digging to try and find more heat (Maggie did this in the sand and it’s the same motion), or she’s just playing! Those are what I found from resourcesIs my BEARDIE doing this because her cage is to small or she wants to get out?
She has a 40 gal and getting an upgrade in a few months she is about 3 1/2, I have noticed she has had some orange poos, never been in contact with a male so the eggs will be infertileWhat size is her tank? How old is she? Digging could definitely be a sign of wanting to lay eggs so to be safe I would set her up a lay box.

Please get a lay box for her ---3 1/2 years
Her beard looks good(I’ll send pic) I think her poo has been orange for a few weeksHow has her beard been? Any blackness? The orange actually has me worried it could be from a burst egg. How long has she been digging like that?
I use a mix of play sand and plain top soil (no additives). Make it damp enough to hold it's shape but not too wet. There are lots of videos on YouTube that can show you how to set one up.

Nothing orange, but in her bath today she pooped and it looked fine white urate and brown poopDo you feed anything orange? Is it her poo or the urate that's orange? Her beard looks fine so she doesn't seem to be in any distress but I would get her a lay box as soon as you can.
Ok thank you I’ll take a look, she is about 18 inHow long is she? Not disputing the egg theory but once they get to 18in they want more room and a 120 gallon tank is the best size. Dubia.com has the best deal for that size tank. It’s on sale right now for $269.
