why do my eyes itch after hanging out with my beardie

What are you feeding for a staple feeder? What kind of substrate is he on?

I agree with Karrieree about the staple feeders, if i don't wash my hands well after feeding dubias it can trigger my allergies, itchy eyes sux!!!!

Oddly enough when my dad had an allergy test done a few years ago, the thing he was the most allergic to was cock roaches. I guess a roach is a roach lol

superworms. and he is in soil with some plants

Could be the soil that the super worms are in --- they should not be used as a staple insect tho - they are treat worms --- can you feed dubias now? If not I would look at going to crickets not recommended or some BSFL or silk worms

Superworms are alright (not the best) as a staple for adults, but they are too fatty to give a baby or juvenile. They need so much protein at that stage that trying to meet it with only superworms is not healthy. Once he is an adult though and only needs limited protein, they can be used as a staple. More variety is always better in my opinion though.
