White spot on end of tongue

Hello!! Leo has developed a white spot on the top of his tongue and at the very tip it is a grey colour and looks a weird texture.
Is this something to be concerned about?
He’s fed insects a few times a week, has fresh veg every morning and is regularly given water.
Thank you :)

Hmmm, I'm not sure. Is he able to lick a heat source by chance ? Can he get close enough to a bulb or ceramic heat emitter ? Other than that I wonder if it might be a slight fungal infection. Drache613 might have some ideas.

No he Can’t reach a bulb or any heat source, I saw a thread on here saying it normal for beardies to have this. Where I live there isn’t any vets specialised in reptiles so I’d have to travel far for a vet, do you know any ways to treat a fungal infection at home? :)

yeah that looks pretty normal to me too. we had a vet visit last weekend and she said sir henry's mouth looks just fine, so i assume that will be the case for you too.

If it doesn’t clear in the next few weeks I’ll get some second opinions, it usually clears up and goes away but just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something to be concerned about :)

I agree the white tip is very normal in many dragons so it's probably fine. If the tip is rough/bumpy then it might be something else but it looks like there's just a very minimal amount of the roughness.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
