My beardie's snout on the very tip is white. At 1st I thought he was going to shed there, but it has been white for a few days. I thought that maybe because he is a nose rubber that maybe he irritated it against the glass, but how do I know for sure if that is what it is or if it is something else. How do I treat that if it is an issue.
The white is on the tip of the nose about the shape of a triangle. I put a little neosporin on it thinking maybe it was a sore, but I am not sure what to do of if there is anthing to worry about.
silly question, but how do I attach a picture I have taken a picture and I e-mailed it to myself, so I have a jpg picture, just not sure how to insert it into this response area.
sounds like a shed to me too, as beardies age, it seems that it takes them longer to actually shed. Fosters nose stayed white for about 3 weeks recently before he shed.
Its just so strange right in the spot on the top triangle of the snout. Normally with the rest of his body he turns like a grey and then it sheds, but this type of white make his pores look kind of raised making me think there is an issue. I will not worry about it and hopefully soon (its been a week), he will shed and it will be gone. Thanks again for your help
