I will donate too... just waiting to hear the prognosis. Were you able to get any help from that reptile rescue that was listed earlier? Let us know what they say and if he has permanent damage than please let them put him down. I have faith though like I said before I have rescued a girl that looked almost that bad. She made a full recovery.

we just have to wait for jessicas update hopfully we can get this guy out of there i will be running him to my vet ASAP if they do take him. anything else i should have on hand? water and should i give him some benbac? or bring baby food?

i had a severly dehydrated leopard gecko and my vet said to give him pedialyte to get those electrolytes into him asap. might be a good thing to have on hand, i get the tasteless king (no flavoring) but they have flavored ones too...

I'm really hoping so too, I got a call from the people that have him today which I ignored. I'm guessing the animal control hasn't gotten him yet like they said they would. Can anyone just try and go get him from these people and ask how much they want for just the dragon? Ask them how much they will let him go for because he needs to see a vet and be rehabilitated, because we obviously can't rely on stupid "animal control" to do their job in this case. Maybe we can get enough donations for someone to adopt him. I can probably donate after the 1st I will see how much I have left over after paying for some more school stuff I need. Let's not lose hope for him!

Well I am a bit disappointed in the animal control there. They obviously don't think a bearded dragon is worth saving.
Morgan, how much do you have in the donation fund? If you had enough to go get him yourself and pay for him, would you be able to do it?

That is so sad that animal control haven't even bothered to try and save the poor beardie! I wish I lived in america because i would go over there myself and get him. Can one of you maybe use the money from donations to buy him? And no way can them people get another pet, no no no, they need to be banned from having all animals. Oh the poor future turtle!
