Where to mark eggs

Hi, I have a 2nd clutch my female laid yesterday and I've seen different articles on where to mark the eggs when I'm going to transfer them. I didnt do this for the first clutch. Do I mark the top before I take them out of the lay box or find the pink embryo and mark That as the top? I'm confused. Thanks in advance.

You mark them where the growth on the egg is placed. Once you find that, then mark it and set it facing the top at ALL times. It can cause problems to the baby inside.
