My boyfriend was getting crickets at the pet store until I realized he was paying 16 cents per cricket. I started buying them on Amazon for a much better price, but then my usual seller started sending me orders HUNDREDS of crickets short! So I switched sellers, but all three different sellers have been shorting my orders!
I have 3 lizards to feed (1 beardie and 2 leopard geckos) so I go through crickets like crazy!
Does anybody have suggestions on where to buy feeders online? I need a safe, reliable, affordable source to purchase bulk (at least 1,000 at a time) crickets and other insects, but I'm kind of paranoid about buying from unknown sites. Please help!
I've had success buying from Great Lake hornworms , Ghann's, Millbrook [ Millbrook ONLY ships overnight so you get your bugs the next day every time ! ]
If you live in a cold area [ under 35 degrees ] you'll need a heat pack in the box .
I've had good luck ordering crickets from premium/georgiacrickets as well. I've ordered worms from great lakes hornworm and coastal silkworms without issue as well.
We've had good luck so far with http://www.rainbowmealworms.net, but we haven't tried ordering crickets yet, just worms. They do have great prices for crickets, so we will be ordering some soon. Our local pet store hasn't been getting shipments in due to the weather.
