Where should ambient temperature be measured?

I was curious where I should be measuring ambient temperature? I have a probe toward the top of the warm and cool sides of the enclosure so that my dragon can’t get to the cords. They measure from 86 to 90 on the warm side and 80 to 82 on the cool side. When I measure the floor temperature with a temp gun it is more like 95. I’m just wondering if I should make the warm side a little warmer?

Ambient temps can be taken w/ the probe on the back wall of the basking side -- 95 on the floor is good -- the cool side same on the side of the tank does she have a hotter part that she can go to on the basking side if she wants to? a range from 95-100 is good on that side of the tank

He is 5 months old, so the basking temps range from 100-110. I was just worried the ambient temp measured on the wall might be too low.

ok yes 105-110 -- for basking so if he has that option its good
