When will brumation stop?

When will my bearded dragon stop brumating? Unless it is parasites he is still brumating. He is actually eating fine but is in the shade a lot more and has been more lazy. This has been since November. I got him parasite tested in October so I am not too worried about parasites. I live in MA and it is still pretty cold here. Is it normal for my bearded dragon to still be acting like this? Any responses are much appreciated.

Lighting and basking temps ? They are the two MOST IMPORTANT things in the tank - if they are incorrect you will get this kind of behavior- what are your basking temps and how are you taking them? NO stick ons please-- and UVB extremely important brand bulb and where in the tank is it? NO coils please

I'm so sorry for not getting back. The basking spot temps are never below 95f or over 105f. The UVB is definitely not coil it is a long t5 tube like https://www.chewy.com/zoo-med-repti...84h5kNIZjVqHxYYuo_MW2XS5aTDMR-CxoCFR4QAvD_BwE it is very strange because he eats fine. Sorry but I don't know what you mean by how am I taking them. But they are monitored by a thermometer. I have 2 thermometers in there and I switch them around to make sure that one is not displaying the wrong temp. The lights are on top of the enclosure with a dome around the basking. The UVB is on the back of the enclosure while the basking is on the front. If you have any more questions please let me know.

Where is the T 5? top of screen or inside the tank -- distance and placement is crucial --- basking temps are being taken by a digital probe thermometer? the probe needs to be placed on the spot where he sits for basking -- it only needs to sit there for 10 minutes or so to get the accurate temp- it does not need to stay there -- incorrect UVB will present w/ brumation symptoms along w/ basking temps but those look good -- the bulb is a good bulb but placement and distance is crucial

The t5 is in top of the screen. It is not inside the tank. I dont have a probe thermometer. Here is my thermometer https://www.google.com/shopping/pro...s=eto:12815857560333881394_0,cdl:1,prmr:1,cs: The thermometer is placed under the basking light where he sits.

If your screen is a fine mesh screen like a screen door you need to get it placed inside the tank approx 12-15 inches w/ basking decor directly underneath -- the screen is blocking 30% of the rays -- your thermometer should have a probe so you can set the probe on the basking spot -- the one you have is giving you ambient temps not actual basking temps- leave the probe there for like 10 minutes or so then get the temp you dont need to leave it there all the time -- if you need things to hang the fixture w/ I can post some for you -- but I would get your UVB inside the tank and watch his behavior --

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
