As the title says.
If I go with wood, like some type of plywood, what should the inside be treated with that is safe for the dragon?
Any specific brands/products?
On a side note, plywood, melamine, or some other type? What is the preference? Melamine seems heavy.
You can treat the inside with whatever you want really. You can paint it ( I typically paint mine white) or use a wood sealer.
Whatever you decide to do, just make sure it has completely cured before putting your dragon in it. This means if you can still smell the paint or sealer, it's not fully cured yet. This can take over a week or two depending on what you use.
I use plywood. Easier to work with and lighter than melamine.
