I recently got an adult leopard gecko. I would't say he was skinny when I got him but he could definitely gain some weight. What are good foods to help fatten him up? Is it possible to overfeed him? I've been feeding him mealworms every other day and mixing a few waxworms in with them. I also just got him some caliworms because I figured a little extra calcium wouldn't hurt.
It is possibly to over feed yes. When their tail is completely full they will start to store fat in their armpits, so if you see this it’s usually good to cut back a bit. They can eat pretty much any feeder a bearded dragon can, appropriately sized of course. Wax worms are good for fat however Leo’s love them and may become addicted.
