So we have two of our three bearded dragons in 4 ft enclosures but I've been having difficulty figuring out what to use for substrate we previously used tile and carpet in there 40 gallons. I've also had trouble finding larger decorations to fill up the space a little bit better.
Do you not like the tile anymore? Tile is typically my first choice.
As for decorations, I like to go to the local rivers/mountains and find cool branches and rocks.
And if your not the outdoor person to go look for decor you can always look at Petsmart - they have great decor for dragons and its easy to keep clean as well

Branches and logs can be baked in the oven at 250 for an hour or 2.
Rocks I soak in a bleach solution usually and then rinse and air dry well. You don't want to bake rocks in the oven, but logs and branches are perfectly fine.
Use a bioactive substrate. Loose is best can dig in it and you can put live plants etc stimulates more natural behavior all you need is coconut fiber , top soil, fir bark or cypress mulch. it doesn't mold , and pte and sphagnum moss and add cleaners like springtails isopods and earthworms maybe some lump wood charcoal not that junk with lighter fluid on it . And you can use sand I use play sand in my substrate mixture sone people dont but I do and with 0 issues
Tile is fine; they don't really need anything else. :study:
I put a basil forest in my enclosure, and my dragon ignores it. As BDs are semi-arboreal, he prefers climbing--on rocks, branches/logs, his basking tower (and up the brick sides of it), and stomping around on the 20+ plants (most in planters--the rest are are air plants) in his enclosure. I don't have one, but hammocks are also popular. You can get quite creative with beardie "jungle gyms".
