What is this?

Hi, so I was letting toothless have some time to look out the window today and I noticed some discolored scales and I’m wondering if this could be scale rot, or something. Anyone have any ideas. And whatever it is what should I do for it? (The spotted scales under his mouth)

Looks like some coloring and some shed that has not come off yet

Definitely not scale rot. Just natural coloring.

Thank you so much I’m a very anxious lizard mom, ive had plenty of cats and dogs, but this is a whole new ball game for me it’s been a year and I still feel like I’ve learned nothing

Yes, I agree, just normal pigmentation on the scales! Definitely no scale rot or any fungal issues
there. It is easy to worry!
