hi, i was just wondering....what do you do with a beardie after he/she has passed away? neither of my beardies have passed away but i was just curious about those people who have lost one. what burial options do you do for your beardie? i was just curious. sorry if i brought bad memories to those who lost one.

I had a baby beardie that I tried to help nurse back to health. I found out that he had MBD and he died despite my best efforts(he belonged to the local pet store who used no UVB lighting or o proper heat lighting) after he died I buried him in a special place in my yard.

After my Cinder passed it took me a while to stabilize myself when I found him, but after a few hours I found a peaceful spot out near my pond and marked his gave with a stone that I plan on painting his name on.
I always put my deceased ones in a nice box and write a little goodbye note on the front, sometimes I even draw picture on there. If they happened to be attached to a certain object (like a blanket or a toy) then I include it with them. With Cinder, he adored my hair...so I cut a piece off and laid it under his arm. It may sound weird, but I thought it would make him happy in some way.

My family has a small place of ground where all of my girls pets have been buried. We have only buried 1 beardie i put her in her fav blankie(so she will always be warm) in a shoebox with her stuffed animal(so she will never be alone) her feeder spoon(so she will never be hungry). We bought a pretty steping stone to mark her grave and planed a flower there.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
