well i was just wondering what beardies do when beeing shiped, do they sleep or remain awake most of the time, that is prolly scary for them if there awake, all that moveing and shifting, not to mention the weird noises and cramped area
Well it's hard to say exactly what they do while being shipped, since no one is in the box with them
I'm sure it is a bit scarey for them. I would like to hope that they sleep, but we will never truly know.
Sorry, wish I had a better answer for you.
naw i typed that on the 14th hour of work and was dead tired, so thats when stupid questions start to form in my mind. I just didnt ask my other one (Can you get Beardies drunk) because it makes it sound like i would realy try it. Mabe i should pack my self and ship me somewere and see what it is like
I think that for the most part of the trip they may sleep. I know when I ship one out it's taken to UPS about 5pm this is only a couple of hours before the normal bedtime. Plus when you place a blanket over a beardie so they are in the dark you will notice they calm down and usually fall asleep...I think this is about how it would be in the box too. However the little boogers have those internal clocks so when the box is opened they are wide awake normally...because it's several hours past the time they would normally have lights turned on and awake.
Hmmm human to Greenland in an insulated box...that would take alot of those small reptile heat packs.
