I feed them regularly (maybe even too much). I give them the proper heating/lighting them need. We've built them giant, roomy cages. We let them swim in our bath tub once a week.
I let them out once a day (they just go find a dark, cold spot to sleep when I let them out).
I just feel like they aren't happy and I don't know how to make them.
Of course...I don't really know how to tell if they are happy or not, but it just seems like they aren't.
Maybe I'm being ridiculous.
Well Puff likes finding dark places to sleep. They sound like they have a good life, I would say instead of just letting them sort of wander around. Cuddle with them or let them run around.
hey when they are all white all over this means they are happy or content at least ....what ive found with yoshi is that let him be and he will start to be more content
Like a white tummy with out stress marks, and a white beardie and their "happy" colors.
It sounds liek they have it pretty good though! Reptiles are usually pretty easy to please... And the way to a beardie's heart is through it's stomach!
Just because they are darker colors doesn't mean that they are terribly unhappy either. Dudley gets dark colors a lot, even if I know that he enjoys what he is doing. Like in his baths, or when he explores.
