Well it finally happened

I got Ruby and Zsa Zsa out tonight and Zsa Zsa actually moved to Ruby and snuggled in with her. I think they are going to be great snuggle buddies

Wow! Looks like Zsa Zsa has started to imitate Ruby's behavior. I'm sure Ruby taught her. Great photo!
It's a pity that Sinatra is still brumating, I miss his photo.

I think Zsa Zsa is missing Christina she has been in Florida for a couple weeks.
I checked in on Sinatra last night, I prodded him to wake him for a health check. He was pretty grouchy about it lol.
If I get a minute before I leave for work I'll try to get a photo of him. Warning though, unless he has moved it'll probably be of his rump though.

And my Foxy changed his mind about brumating and has been wandering around a bit sleepy for 3-4 days now. Today he asked to go for a walk. I prepared a basking area for him in the room and he went for a walk. He still doesn't refuse food, but he eats noticeably less.
Sometimes it seems to me that he tries not to fall asleep so as not to miss anything interesting

That's how Zen always acted. He never did a full brumation. He napped ALOT but still are and pooped ect.

Honestly I haven't, when he went down, he went in his hide and hasn't come out since. I've been trying to leave him alone as much as possible. I wake him about every 3 days enough to open an eye and show me he is ok. Very stressful .
I have noticed though that his color is seemingly bright and his blue bars are always blue and not black like when he is being lazy or trying to warm up.
Ruby was the other way when she brumates, her orange is more brown and her bright orange beard becomes a very dark orange. It's so fascinating to watch them and to compare and constrast their behaviors. I feel like no matter how much I learn that I'm not even scratching the surface.

It looks like he's spying on what you're taking pictures of. I think he's not too happy with the bright light.
Foxy also lay in his hide for about a week and watched us through half-closed eyes.
Let him rest, he'll have to spend a lot of energy when spring fever starts.

Yeah, I often see Zsa Zsa like to pose like that for photos.
This photo could be used in books about bearded dragons, it looks like she enjoys posing.
How is Ruby doing? Has she settled into the new basking area in the terrarium?

My Taco, when brumating, had his usual dull "hiding and sleeping color".
He stayed mostly awake during the day while brumating, but only very rarely came out of his burrow. No food and no poop for months. He did this

Foxy also lay in his hide for about a week and watched us through half-closed eyes.

I think like you mentioned he's afraid he'll miss something but at least you can still interact with him some, I call that a win lol.

She is actually doing better than I expected. Shecis actually moving around more in this habitat. She is basking and setting in her uvb better, and actually climbs on top of her hide (that scares the crap outta me though, I'm worried about getting flipped over and being able to right herself while I'm at work). I thought Sinatra would be fired down and dull, but his color is staying bright.

She is basking and setting in her uvb better, and actually climbs on top of her hide (that scares the crap outta me though, I'm worried about getting flipped over and being able to right herself while I'm at work). She is eating better as well. All in all I think she is happier.

Maybe you should consider installing a camera while you are not home? As a temporary solution.
You will be able to monitor Ruby while she is home alone.
The camera can be turned on when you leave and turned off when you are home.
