Weird poop/sleepy/doesn't wanna eat.

Unfortunate news again, I suppose.

I got a thermometer yes, everything's set up - but that's. Whatever

He's not gaining any weight. Took him a bit to actually poop (he's been pooping bits n pieces of urates... and blood), but he did it today. He's not impacted as far as we're aware. He's slowly getting dehydrated despite drinking water (poor thing pees it all out, I think?). He's refusing to eat. He's getting weaker by the day

We've got another visit at the doc's tomorrow. Vet is suspecting he might have some underlying issues that we failed to catch earlier. I've gotten in contact with somebody who got their beardie from the same breeder and it died after having similar symptoms (pooping blood, refusing to eat) despite having an actually good lamp in their terra from the get-go. This might be our last night together and I'm really sad, but it's fine.

I really wish he'd bounce back. Really. But I can see him getting weaker. He looks like he's suffering. His eyes are getting sunken.
I've done everything I can. But. I have a feeling. I hope a miracle happens, but I just don't see it being possible. The decline has been drastic.

I am so sorry to hear this -- if you can get blood work done - it may find the cause for this- I am flagging to Tracie the vet tech on the forum

I'm very sorry to hear this I hope the vet can figure it out in time. Your doing everything you can. I hope this experience doesn't turn you off to beardies. They are fantastic pets. If he passes hopefully when your ready you can find a healthy beardie and get to enjoy the good side of keeping them.

He's in a better place as of today. He was too weak for any kinda treatment, sadly. Barely moving. God knows why. I didn't want an autopsy, so I'll never know

I want to adopt another one eventually but definitely not rn. Thanks everyone. Here's the last photo I took of him today, he passed away peacefully at least

I'm so sorry. You did everything you could for him. I know that doesn't make it less painful but still you tried. Please continue to be a part of this community. We don't just love beardies here but also other people that love beardies.
