This is the second day that after her usual one poop, she pooped again but nothing but white part and clear liquid and just isn't acting herself. She is molting, but never acted like she is almost trying to hide like she is now. Her diet the last couple of day has been silkworms and BSFL, kale, mustard greens, yellow squash, little carrot, little mango (mango was very ripe?), I have a parsite home kite and checked her about a month ago and she was fine. She has been eating a lot of the silkworms lately, she also gets crickets but hasn't had any in almost a week. She's six months old, chance she might be going to lay eggs soon? Is she over hydrated from the silkworms?
Sorry for slow post had a lot going on, so the silkworms are fairly new to her, about two weeks, she was on a diet of bsfl, crickets and superworms(treat). the silkworms I had were getting big so she ate a bunch of them in the last week, so I thought maybe over hydration? other then that the mango was riper then I usually give her, but I think it was fine. I gave her some bene bac yesterday and today her poop and mood seems back to normal. Just not sure what was going on but I also took silkworms out until I could she. I guess my biggest question, since it eats so much is can it get over hydrated from silkworms?
I have never fed silk worms but so I couldn’t be positive. You could try cutting back but as long as her poop is back to normal I wouldn’t worry about it. Just like us beardies poop might be a little strange occasionally but if it’s normally ok it should be fine.
I gave her bene bac, that always seems to do the trick and worked this time as well, I need to find something of a regular schedule to give bene bac. I haven't been able to find anything abut how often you should give it to them as part of a diet.
bene-bac is a gel that gives them good bacteria much like yogurt for humans, its for reptiles and birds, you give them a tiny pea size chunk. It works get, and after I gave it once I did a home parasite test and you could see the good bacteria in the stool.
I really feel she was over hydrated from the silkworms, the next time I give her a lot of them I am going to give her a few super worms to see if it will counteract it, it seems supper worms dehydrate them a little.
