So i'm pretty sure this is nothing to worry about as I've had 3 bearded dragons that have had what i'm asking about and they've been fine but does anyone know why or have a bearded dragon with a blueish dot in the middle of their head? about between the eyes but further back? I've wondered what it is and why it's there, i'm quite curious
Thanks
Yup! It is a primitive eye, it's also tied into the systems regulating their basking behavior and day/night cycle. There isn't anything you need to know about it but I agree, it's cool!
I don't know, honestly, but it doesn't seem to be. Reptiles are really secretive about the way things feel though. They can also be head shy, if you dragon flinches away or winces their eyes when you touch the head the action might be bothering them.
It can perceive light/dark so they may sense the shadows/hand or whatever.
