You could try using @KarrieRee trick. Use hornworms or silkworms. Put them on the greens those doggone things stick to everything. He'll like end up eating the greens with the worms.

One is a larvae and run small - I would go w/ medium on both - silks are really soft as well - order a small amount of the larvae and see how he does w/ them - you may be able to go to large - how old is he? I was feeding large to Blaze at 4 months old

Okay, ill definitely try that. I've discovered that as a baby, a dunner, and a baby dunner, he tends to hold food in his throat pouch longer than normal so feeding time is slow and few at a time. But do you know if maybe petsmart sells bsfl or something.? Just so I can get them sooner than later, bugs take foreverrrrrr to ship.

I've rarely seen bsfl at PetSmart, I dunno about Petco I never go in there.

He's 4 months today, 32g and 10 inches. He should weigh more but has something wrong with his nose, we thought shed, but some tissue at his nostril basically came away and was hanging and the vet saw some sort of tissue in his nose she's thinks is blocking it because he keeps puffing up some, puffing out air and opening his mouth, like he cant breathe and when he does breathe in to do that he holds his breath until that point and then takes a *really, really* deep breath and as a result, started refusing food and in less than a week, went from 34g to 27g, but hes now eating worms well so we're working on his weight.

The main issue is because he's having a hard time breathing and because he holds food in his throat longer than normal, (which is apparently a common issue with dunner/baby dunners.?) i can only feed him a few at a time, wait a minute or two and then feed a few more and they have to be kinda tiny, or I cant feed him as much. It makes the breathing thing worse when hes got a bunch of food in his throat pouch. I was told he should grow out of holding onto his food, so we'll see. I've been afraid to give him bigger bugs, especially with the mouth open thing, in fear of him choking or something.

We typically order from dubia, i think. And they easily take four or five days to get to Georgia, mostly because of the weather lately, I think.

I'd like to find somewhere I can get both at the same time, if possible. But also dont wanna order a crap ton in case he doesnt like them because the others dont really like silks or bsfl, they hate the constant web on the silk and just stare at the bsfl like its gonna grow a second head.

Hes doing okay, still the open mouth thing. Im not sure if its relevant, but hes opening his mouth a bit wider lately.? Not necessarily more often, but it does seem his mouth is open wider, but that may not mean anything. His appetite is great, I got him to eat some salad yesterday both with and without supers on it, I just dont get why he wont eat it from his bowl. Its almost as if he doesnt see it. I weighed him and hes 38g and getting a tiny belly. He may be having trouble breathing, but he definitely has been wanting food, he constantly goes after the tweezers.

Lucy was more likely to sit in her bowl than eat from it when we got her. I thought the same thing, she can't see in it. Her salad I started putting on a paper plate I cut in half and her bugs I put where see could see them from her basking and it worked. Ifcshe jumped down away from the bowl it confused her some times. If I sat it where she stayed on the decore and ate she did ok.
Fury sounds like he is growing good, it won't be long till he can see in the bowl

He really is. He'll surf in his tank so ill pick him up and when I put him back, if he isn't ready, he'll turn around and climb farther into my hand or up my arm and just look at me expectantly

I know I'm late, but I absolutely DO NOT recommend getting any feeders from petco/petsmart. That's how Mirage got coccidia.
