His activity is okay, not super super active, partly because he's chill and still a bit scared and partly probably because he doesnt have a lot of energy from not eating really. Our scale shows hes 32g, so I'm really glad hes gaining some and eating a bitHello,
Definitely a good appetite is a great sign. How is his activity level doing?
I hope that he is able to put more weight on & recover fully. Keep us posted on him!

He ate TEN worms yesterday.Hello,
Well, give him some time, he is improving. I hope he continues to steadily gain weight. At only 32 grams, he is still small so he has a long way to go thus far.
He should get all settled in so hopefully he will become more active here real soon.

Oh man it makes me haapy to hear that. Some of the low appetite may have still been relocation stress. But either way if he is eating good he should be on his way to being healthyHe ate TEN worms yesterday.I haven't weighed him today, but I'm so glad hes eating and gaining. It sounds like the antibiotic is much better on his stomach. He's still doing the open mouth thing, but i hope he stays this way with eating.
We haven't gotten that thing in his nose looked at by uga yet, it's just too expensive right now and our vet thinks he may be too little for any kind of surgery to remove it or whatever. She said he was too little to suture the scale tissue back to his face. I wonder if the black spot that showed up on his face after the vet pushed out shed and junk was dying scales and not a bruise. She said something about dying scales, but the spot didnt get any bigger or anything. If only we could figure out how to help his nose...Oh man it makes me haapy to hear that. That video is precious. It's pretty obvious he already trust you. If it's itching that much hopefully it is because it's healing up. The dark spot does look smaller to me than when she first did that to him.We haven't gotten that thing in his nose looked at by uga yet, it's just too expensive right now and our vet thinks he may be too little for any kind of surgery to remove it or whatever. I kinda thought so too, but when we first brought him home, he'd eat. Not a ton, like the others did when they were babies, but an okay amount of roaches. And then literally like five days after getting him, the breathing thing started. Another concern is, I'm pretty sure he holds his breath, takes a scarily deep breath, (like, super deep to where his chest sinks in a lot) puffs out air and opens his mouth for a second or two, then closes it and restarts the process. I dont think he breathes in between these events and if he does, they're super super shallow.
He ate 9 worms again, 7 supers and 2 horns. I know they're not the greatest, but hes eating and ill take it. If only I can get him to eat some of his salad. This his his face today, she pushed the tissue back in place and its stayed ever since so we're treating it as an open wound right now. And this is a video of him scratching. He does this *constantly* like, so aggressively to where he'll fall off his bridge. The others have never been this itchy when their face is shedding. And only part of one side of his face even looks like it's going to shed anytime soon.

She didnt want any cream because she said he'd just lick or scratch it off. It doesnt seem to bother him, outside of the incessant itching.Hello,
He is very sweet! It looks a bit better, does it seem
to be bothering him at all? I would try to use some
type of antibiotic ointment or silver cream to help it along with healing.
That's great he is eating now, he must be feeling
better!

He drank some water yesterday, wanted to drink water. What's a way I can get him to eat his greens.? As far as I know, he isn't, I cant tell, and if he is, it's only a few bites. But, at home, he weighs 32g and at the vet, he's 31.2 so I'm really glad he's gaining still. He was active and alert before but now that he has some weight on him and whatnot, hes a lot more active and alert, which i love. There's hope for the little bugger yet.Hello,
Yes, he does need to eat his greens, at least part of the time anyway! He will eventually go potty, just try
to keep him well hydrated to help his system move things through easier. He is young, so he should be
able to recover pretty quickly here.

You could try using @KarrieRee trick. Use hornworms or silkworms. Put them on the greens those doggone things stick to everything. He'll like end up eating the greens with the worms. He drank some water yesterday, wanted to drink water. What's a way I can get him to eat his greens.? Please get some BSFL and use those as salad lures - drop them on top of his salads so he sees them - you will need a bowl w/ a lip on it so they cant escape - some like this https://www.amazon.com/MACGOAL-Rept...uGQB&pd_rd_wg=tLkwE&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_dYou could try using @KarrieRee trick. Okay, ill definitely try that. I've discovered that as a baby, a dunner, and a baby dunner, he tends to hold food in his throat pouch longer than normal so feeding time is slow and few at a time. But do you know if maybe petsmart sells bsfl or something.? Just so I can get them sooner than later, bugs take foreverrrrrr to ship. Please get some BSFL and use those as salad lures - drop them on top of his salads so he sees them - you will need a bowl w/ a lip on it so they cant escape - some like this https://www.amazon.com/MACGOAL-Rept...uGQB&pd_rd_wg=tLkwE&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_d
silk worms also work real good and are a staple feeder they will stick to the greens here are some websites for you www.symtonbsf.com -- www.reptilianarts.com - I would start w/ around 20-25 BSFL if he likes them and gobbles them down to fast they can come out undigested so start w/ a small amount you can always add more or use your main staple feeder - silks you can use 3 or so -- feeding a variety is really good
