Well, around Thanksgiving week,I've got plans to go on a vacation to Florida for a week. However,Terra's only 6-7 months and we also have a leopard gecko.I would consider having someone watch them, but I doubt ANYONE in our location would wanna feed live bugs to a lizard, let alone two.Any suggestions?
Some places offer boarding for herps. I would rather call in a personal favor and have them be slightly neglected by a friend while safe in their own home than in a strange enclosure in the back room of a boarding facility. I think you would be surprised what people will do for money or love. I've convinced friends to feed my snakes, which requires thawing and handling dead mice, feed anoles, which required feeding live crickets and misting the tank 2-3 times a day and take care of my horse which entailed lots of poo shoveling and dirt. People are more generous than you think and might surprise you. You can also look for professional pet/house sitters who will come care for your pets. I did that a lot in high school.
