Hello everyone,
This is 8 years old Scar (he fell when he was like one month old and got a scar on his beard). Scar has atadenovirus since birth (stargazing and everything in the first months) and has some neurological issues.
Scar couldn’t eat on his own since birth, I’ve been hand feeding him for 8 years now (both bugs and greens) because he just can’t target the food. Scar also has a direction problem, he doesn’t know that he’s on a higher surface and simply will jump from it (like if I put him on a table, he will keep walking). Also, when he’s outside, he will “vibrate” his head like he’s panicking (outside of the enclosure).
In the last few months I observed that he started to walk weirdly. It might be his age? He’s 8 years old.
I’ll attach a video at the end of the post.
Scar has an enclosure with 12.0 UVB bulb and 2.0 UVB neon. The temperature is 35°C on the hotspot. During summer (June to start of September) he stays outside in direct sunlight in his outside enclosure. I also let him walk inside the room whenever he wants and start glassdancing.
Scar eats greens (like 3 times a week, he doesn’t like them that much) and also Dubia bugs with calcium (2 times a week)
Scar poops once every 2 days and I bathe him 2 times a week.
Could it be MBD? If yes, I’m shocked because he wasn’t lacking either Vitamin D or Calcium all these years.
