So, I decided to get Carlos out of his 20L with his wire cage topper. Not only because I was finding way to many crickets in the house, but because Carlos is starting to get big... ... fast! I've heard a lot of discrepancy of the Exo Terra brand enclosures saying they do not allow enough room for a full sized bearded dragon. I wanted to keep in mind simplicity, beauty, elegance, and though of my next set up as a furniture decoration type of piece. I decided to give the Exo Terra enclosure a chance and if Carlos continues to outgrow it, I will presume a 75+ gallon. The enclosure dimensions measure 36"x18"x18" (LxHxD). I found at a local hardware store 18"x18" stick on flour vinyl squares. The inside tank dimensions are not quite specified as what I thought and had to trim them a bit. I was going to try to mold with grout and "great stuf" but decided the simple look from the great out doors would benefit me enough. I went a bit overboard with the sandstones to make it look very desert like, however, my wife disagreeing took a lot of it out and reminded me, "simple is sometime better." I do agree with her and this is what we were left with in the end. I truly enjoy the looks of this terrarium and I believe Carlos loves it as well. If you all have any questions, feel free to reply or PM me. Thanks for looking! :D His basking rock fluctuates between 98-102 degrees at the highest measured by an infrared laser temp gun from the proper distance from the rock. He spends most of his time either scaling the styro-foam wall or on his rock. :) We have a 4 bulb Exo Terra hood made for the terrarium in our town now at the post office that will get here shipped tomorrow. I am very excited because it was the hood that is designed to go with this enclosure! <a href="http://s182.photobucket.com/user/thomasricketts10/media/IMG_4892_zps47e8b1d6.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x20/thomasricketts10/IMG_4892_zps47e8b1d6.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_4892_zps47e8b1d6.jpg"/></a> ^^^There's a cricket on his head! :P ^^^This is night time. 9:00pm his 75watt night lights come on keeping it about 80 degrees in there. His daylights and basking light come on at 7:00am as the night lights shut off.
