As promised here are the pics of my new viv!

I got these lamps with the viv. it's a heat and uvb lamp. My own lamps are solar raptor lamps 75 and 80 watts and heat and uvb in one. I'll check my temp with these lamps otherwise i'll put my SR in it :)

I've never posted pics of my tank...any of them. XD I straightened Ridley's cage out this morning though while he was napping under the couch ( ) so now is as good a time as any.

Just a regular 40g breeder that I picked up off Craigslist for $20 near the beginning of the year. Flooring is natural slate, basking spot is part of a hardwood tree root propped up on a small plastic rock thing. Decorations are aquarium plants that we bought in multiple colors and tied together. We didn't want to go full desert as he'd blend in too much...so we have kind of an arid oasis thing happening. Except for the pink flowers in the right corner...those are my boyfriend's idea.

Lights are hung of the top of the tank with outdoor hanging basket hooks, and there is no lid on the tank. Ridley likes to look out at us! And we pet him a lot as we go in and out of the office. :D Large dome is a MVB and small dome is just a house light for heat. Here we go!

Tank front. MVB was off, so it looks a little dark.

Basking wood and vines. TBH, the floor is really the basking spot, as it gets a bit hotter and is directly under the MVB. He just likes to sit up on the wood to watch the world.

Better shot of the weird little corner. When he wants to nap during the day, he crams himself into this corner and puts his head under the leaves. :p I wonder if he thinks we can't see him?

Cool side with morning salad. The slate pieces here are smaller as this is the place he likes to throw things and dig. He rearranges the tiles about 2-3 times a week over here. Also included is random crap on the floor from cleaning the tank, and of course the pink flowers. *facepalm*

Tank occupant. Very Not Happy that it is morning and that he was hauled out from under his dark and cold den under the couch. Lots of grump face and side eye.

Turning around to warm the other side and looking *slightly* less miserable.

And that's it! The lighting isn't as yellowy as it looks irl, but I was taking them through the glass.

Her new 75 Gallon tank is outside as we speak; it's just waiting for its lid and background to arrive. We can't wait!

all my plants in my tank (the next above) are all live plants. yes they create humidity but my tank is well ventilated. plants in the tank are dandelions (hardiest plant in the world, + nutritious) , tomato plant, basil, haworthia zebra, , bamboo and Christmas cactus. they're all thriving under the uvb lamp with Copernicus!

Enclosure in progress

Build next to the house. The window from the dining room is the main 'Watch the Beardie" place.
Side window is for maintenance. Enclosure is 1090 gallon. and will be fitted with fiberglass rock wall and fiberglass bottom plate (depth 30 cm or 12inch for digging activities). The backside has a 50cm (20inch) x 280cm (110inch) ventilation frame with active fans behind the fiberglass rock wall. (I live in the Philippines) My problem is not cold but getting too hot inside the enclosure and due to a lot of rainfall humidity problem - that's why I ordered 6 thermo/humidity probes to keep an close eye on the situation inside and outside the enclosure. The enclosure will be the home to 2 Bearded dragons - male (red) and female (orange/yellow). Their still at the pet shop (paid and reserved) and waiting to come to their new home.
Lighting
UV 380-385nm Ledstrips - 635nm Ledstrips - 6500K White ledstrips - UVA/UVB reptile lamp all controlled by multi output timer.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
