Garfield has a new home. He's over 12" now, so I figured it was time to get him something bigger. I put non-adhesive shelf liner on the bottom and small tiles covering the cool end. The hammock is also new. I'm so glad I found this forum. I had sand in his original viv for literally half a day, then read what a bad idea it was.

I did have a hide-log for him, but it didn't fit in his last terrarium and my husband assumed I was never going to use it, so he threw it out. I'm going to look for a new hiding place for him tomorrow. I also gave him a teddy bear to sleep on tonight. He seems to like the new digs pretty well, though.

How did you do your background wall? I wanna make something similar but just can't seem to make anything look right. I can build with the Styrofoam but can't seem to carve it to look like natural rocks. I like how other people do there's but I want one like you and some else I saw had something similar mainly because my tank isn't very wide and I don't want the rocks to stick out to far.

damn you mass production! I guess I'll just start small and try to match it. The sad part is I was just at the store and they made the walls like a rock texture exactly what I wanted. How sad is it that I thought of getting some plaster and slapping it on the wall to make an imprint of it? I'm still considering it though just want a less messy way to do it.

This is Loki's viv which is also the same Exoterra viv with rock wall that Noelopan has above. We just put the castle in today.

You can see her "horde" treasure chest up on the castle, and there's a purple dragon statue on the ground... she loves that tree, and the castle also has a hide for her.

Naturally with a brand new castle, she decided to fixate on one spot... haha. She seems to like it though.

Thank you! I really should have gotten a better picture of the back. This one (taken after grouting it) kind of shows you the back. It has those supports along the back. Either side is open, so we can figure out where she is when she decides to go in the hide, and it's not too dark in there during the day.

Thanks for posting another pic, it really looks great,.................. is the base made out of styrofoam?
