Vit D3 with MVB LIGHT!

Hi everyone! today i was at the pet store getting some feeders and asked about just getting the repti calcium without the d3 because i already have it and i thought that if you have a MVB light that you wouldn't need the d3 anymore, but he said i did! so whats the deal?

No you do not need D3 with a good MVB bulb.MVB bulbs are such high quality uvb that it allows for D3 synthesis without the use of supplements while flourescents are just not strong enough to accomplish this which is why we supplement when using those.Hope that clears things up for you

Yes it can.Too much of a good thing can do as much damage as not enough of it.

Ok, well I guess once I get my MegaRay I'm going to need to buy new calcium. Thanks though, wasn't sure
