No, I'm not talking just about new pictures (although there are regularly more of those being posted)... I spent some time developing a custom interface for the Visitor Photo Album that blows away the old simple page I made years back. Now, you can easily change between pictures an smoothly transition between pages of photos. You can either click thumbnails like before, or use the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard. And going to the "right" of he last image of the current page will load up the next page of images.
One problem I had with the old design was that every time you loaded a new page, you had to scroll back down to where the picture was displayed. Now, it will not jump back to the top of the page, leaving for a much nicer overall experience. I may still make some general layout changes, but I'm really happy with the improvements.
No, it didn't. People don't actually have to be logged in to upload a picture for it, so I don't capture username. I just take the picture and that's about it. I offer an option for people to enter an email address in case I need to follow-up with them about the image, but rarely is that provided.
