I am cross posting this from my original post titled "Baby Beardie Walking Funny" because I want to help my little guy!
Mustashio (Tashi) is approx 2-3months old, approx 6 inches, and has a very stable set up with lighting and temperatures being appropriate as they should be. We have only had him for 2 weeks, and his eating habits (dusted crickets and vegi's) and pooping habits have been normal throughout. He started doing this drunken walk and wobble about 2 days ago, and it is getting worse.
Here are some videos of Tashi acting strange. Reptile store said maybe something neurological? Possibly a head injury from falling off his climb or something? Not sure. I've heard about "straight leg" and paralysis due to eating too big of feeder prey, but have been very careful about cricket size. I stopped giving mealworms about 2days ago too. Reptile store also said possibly a spike in incubation temperatures during the incubation period can cause neurological issues that may not show up til later. We've only had him for 2 weeks! Very worried about my scaley baby! Any insight? And what can I do to help him?
I can't help at all but have to say that video made me cry when he kept attempting his wobbly
climb. I hope you can find out what is causing this and that he will be ok. That is just so sad!
All good healing thoughts to little Tashi!
