I did give her a little non dairy yogurt today and some Gatorade. She usually takes between 5-7 crit care a day but as vet talked she should have been eating on her own within a few days and that’s why I am worried some. Her beard looks normal though I know it was a big surgery so she’s exhausted and probably still sore/hurting. She’s only on pain meds for 5-7 days after is what I was told. When she wants to walk she seems to do good she just would rather lay most the time but I can’t blame her if she’s not feeling great yet. It’s not even been a week. She always wants to lay in one spot in her cage though. And with the uvb hooked inside where it is it’s not easy to get the basking right a live her. She usually has her head outside of it in hight 80s low 90s and her tail sometimes her back side is in the light and it can go from mid 90s - low 100s. It’s a 75 watt basking bulb and on a dimmer so I keep adjusting it to try to keep temps from getting too hot on her. Part of me wonders if she is depressed since she’s not use to being in the cage as much as she has lately. Usually we’re outside and she can get on the ground or whatever. Lately she just goes out and I hold her. She acts like she does better in some ways but then others I question. Like she still acts like she’s ready for bed as soon as we come in the house and she does seem to want to hold her left eye closed alot more than normal. I would feel a little better if she would eat on her own or even try to get up and walk more. I’ll add some pics of her where she is currently laying. They show temps and stuff. They are usually around that range. They are a little low at the moment since we just came in from outside and I didn’t have her dimmer turned up when we were out. Edit: i also should mention she is on a pillow that sets about the height of her hammock in those pics. I have taken it out and just let her lay on the bottom of the tank on a blanket so the uvb is around the low 2 range. I was worried she may have been too close to the uvb and it could be why she keeps shutting her one eye even when not in the tank.
