Hi, I'm kinda concerned about something going on facebook. A vet is recommending that folks remove the waxy plugs because it can lead to infections behind them. Now there are a bunch of people doing it. Anyone have an opinion on this? What they are calling "suspect" pores look normal to me! How common is this to be a real concern? Thanks!!
I don't know how common these plugs are (we've got a female, so they're less prominent) but "The Reptile Doctor" is one of the top herp vets in Australia. He's looked after our southern angle-headed dragons--there aren't a lot of people familiar with them. So he's not some random Facebook crank.
